You get what you pay...

Liked: The hotel position was convenient, which was also a pitfall !
Disliked: The room was airless, it was way too hot and stuffy with the air conditioning not working. I opened the window but had to close it as was on the main street and all you hear is delivery motorbike riders roaring along all night, I paid for a hotel and did not sleep one bit. To top things off I came down for breakfast before going to work to be told that the waiter had not turned up, so there was no breakfast. There are better options of places to stay in Madrid for sure.

Liked: Very kind person at the reception . upon my early arrival she helped to help the room ready ahead of the time. Coffee in the morning at the reception with some cookies ;-)
Disliked: Pb with the air condition in the room , it was too hot in the room and the air con was not working properly only heating. some elecrical switches require fixing - esp. the one in the corridor.

Great Location, nice room.

Liked: I liked the Location… the room, walking distant to the downtown.
Disliked: I expected a Reception area with more information for tourists! We were not given any guidance. We were informed that we were not going to find any Restaurant open, not cafeteria, etc 31 and nothing opened the 1st of the year!…. We walked 3 blocks and there were Restaurants opened and in Downtown area every place was opened with lots of tourists….Also there is some “smell” too strong in the Lobby, some kind of “room airfreshener” that could be toxic to people.
