A lovely hotel in an...

Liked: The hotel had a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walked in. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist either in organising taxi’s or in giving advice. The location was great. The hotel was surrounded by very good restaurants and cafes. The tram line was opposite the hotel which could take you into Central Station. It was a 20 minute walk to the main museums. The room was comfortable and spacious.
Disliked: The room was a little dark. It needed a central light, not just a few lamps.

Super, historic hotel in excellent...

Liked: The historic feel and look of the public areas give the hotel a unique quality. The buffet breakfast was excellent (but the coffee machine could be improved?). Our bedroom was at the quiet back of the hotel. The beds are comfortable, with good reading lights. Good TV with BBC news channel. The bathroom was very good: good space, window that opened, vg lighting, bath with 'drench' shower.Rembrandtplein is a great location for going to the museum quarter (as we did), about 25 minutes along the canals' and for the centre.
Disliked: Maybe a small chest of draws? We stayed four nights and it would have been helpful. Rembrandtplein is full of bars and cafes, with numerous restaurants closeby. Also a couple of 'smokeys' (cannabis cafes). This might not be to every visitor's taste, but the location was perfect for us.

Liked: Location of hotel was excellent, tram stop opposite hotel, a variety of restaurants were very close, rooms were a bit on the small side but were very clean.
Disliked: Small room

Fabulous hotel in a great...

Liked: Location was fantastic. Room was very small so I was moved to a different room which was fantastic.
Disliked: Original room allocated was very small for price paid.
