Relaxing visit

Liked: The view was amazing and the staff very helpful
Disliked: I didn’t have enough time there as we had an early flight

Exceptional

Liked: Great location and it was very easy to walk to the city center. Our room overlooked the river which was very cool. Great view of the city across the river. The room and gym and everywhere in the hotel was very clean. We loved breakfast. Porto is very safe and we felt comfortable walking at night back to our hotel. I would stay there again.
Disliked: nothing it was all very, very nice. I wouldn't change a thing about the hotel.

Nothing going for it but...

Disliked: To start with even though I provided a note from my doctor they would not credit me for the first night when I contracted a bad case of food poisoning in Lisbon and had to stay an extra night there. Room was not well apportioned. For 2 days my coffee supplies were not replenished and I had to ask. There was no robe, though my associate 2 doors down had 2. Pillows were horrible foam. They could not put me on a waiting list for parking, rather said I would need to come early in the morning to check if a spot opened up. One night there was construction out my window all night long and they would not provide me an interior room away from the noise for the night because there wasn’t a room available in my “room classification”. To their credit, they offered earbuds. Thank you very much. I have never felt so unwelcome as a paying guest.

Liked: We had pleasant stay, location of hotel was perfect for us, couple of minutes to walk to city centre. Hotel has beautiful view from terrace bar to Vila Nova de Gaia. Breakfast was good, with many options to choose.
