Rooms were clean and very quiet. Lots of eating places. The American Burger was really good with great staff.

Liked: Room was so far from elevators. No fridge. I asked about checking out early. They said there’s a surcharge to do that. That makes no sense whatsoever. I was willing to pay full night rate, but to charge me full rate AND a surcharge to leave early is really ridiculous. You should offer maps of where to find things at your hotel and maps of what’s outside each entrance point. I wondered in circles which was exhausting! Need more staff to assist guests. Checkin line too long. Do it yourself check in is confusing and half iPads don’t work. Very frustrating. Hard time finding humans to help me.

Great but 2 major flaws

Liked: So this was my 5th time in Vegas and the NYNY was the easiest resort to navigate. This place has all the potential in the world but we were disappointed with quite a few things. First of all one of the elevators would NOT allow you to be dropped off on the first floor, it would take you to 2 and you’d have to either take a 4-5 min extra walk or wait on another elevator to take you down. The second thing I didn’t like is the rooms are very very loud, from the roller coaster running til midnight and if you’re beside or up under somebody with the spa bath it is LOUD LOUD LOUD. We were woken up every morning at 7 to the guests above us running the tubs. It was honestly annoying, I’ve never stayed at a resort where you could physically hear one of the other rooms water running. The location is solid and every single cafe/restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic. This property could be so wonderful with a few tweaks but I suppose there is nothing you can do about hearing tub water. We would stay here again but would request a top floor to avoid the noise of the neighbors water.
