Enjoyable break in the New...

Liked: The venue and location are beautiful. The decor is considered and classy, feeling grown up and cosy. It really was like a home from home with special touches, such as the milk and cookies, or fresh milk in the room. We didn't take our child with us but welcomed the notion of a child-friendly hotel, and would love to return with our little one. The spa facilities were amazing, as was the various rooms to sit in and play games /relax. Overall a luxury break in a stunning location with friendly staff and personal touches.
Disliked: Pretty expensive overall, especially the food in the restaurant, when that is added in. The breakfast could be improved and let it down a bit. Good selection but bacon watery and not crispy, hash browns soggy, not particularly nice sausages, pancakes chewy. Our bed (cosy room) did feel very small for two. Pool area sometimes quite noisy with families but not too bad. Our room had a lampshade just above where you would sit up in bed, making it hard to do so without knocking your head!

A pretty hotel that’s thought...

Liked: So many thoughtful little details to make your stay more comfortable. Everyone was accommodated for from families to adult couples. There’s adult only spaces but milk and cookies for the kids. Really lovely.

Charming weekend getaway

Liked: Clean, comfortable, charming and great spa! Friendly stuff. Great value for money
Disliked: Breakfast dishes wasn’t amazing but the overall buffet was good. Restaurant stuff wasn’t professional but kind. A lot of children around.
