Besides the room numbering system...

Liked: Great location, especially if you want to attend an event at The Quarter bar in the basement. Simply walk down the stairs and you are there.
Disliked: The unique room numbering system threw me off. I knew they have no elevator so booked room 118. That is invariably on the first floor of rooms. It was on the 3rd floor so had to tackle 3 flights of stairs every trip up and down. They need to put in the room description which floor the room is located.

Liked: The location is everything, but the staff is what makes a great stay and I'm bad with names :(The lady who runs the front desk is as good as it's gets!I found that my last 2 stays were screwed up by using Booking.com, but because the hotel calls an confirms your stay information they straighten it out, with no hiccups!!!I should of looked at Booking.com's confirmation, but I didn't, thank God the Hotel confirmed my itinerary...
Disliked: If you've stayed at the other hotels in town they're all very old, and that's what gives the charm to them all, but New Orleans has charm and it's it up to date!

Very comfortable and relaxing hotel....
