Quietness of remote location disturbed...

Liked: Location was ideal, facilities were good and bedroom was perfect
Disliked: Wedding just beneath us so very disturbed night. Called reception to complain and only got a sorry, but no solution was offered. The room was shaking because of the power of the bass underneath, and the songs sounded that clear we could.have easily sang along. The next morning, breakfast was not great: vegetarian breakfast was very poor, and the eggs served did not look like what one expects from a hotel or for the price paid. At check out, we were made to pay the full rate despite the receptionist being the person handling our complaint the night before. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience.

Liked: loved the location. perfect to relax and recharge. The setting felt like we were back in time and the historical factor. stunning scenery and waterfalls.The evening meal was exceptional.

Liked: Stunning location. Total peace except the sound of the water. Welcoming friendly staff. Clean comfortable room, way larger than average. Good food. Easy access to Edinburgh for a day out and the rugby, but nice being somewhere quiet with beautiful walks as a contrast to being in the city
Disliked: Parking can be a bit tight as the car park is quite small.
