Hotel Description
The New Lanark Mill Hotel is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel has spacious rooms with attached bathroom a restaurant bar and swimming pool. New Lanark is a small 18th century village designed as a model industrial center. Today the mill buildings school and workers' homes have been converted into shops museums and the New Lanark Mill Hotel. The rooms and the rooftop garden both offer stunning views of the river and the surrounding Conservation Area. The restaurant overlooks the River Clyde and offers traditional Scottish dishes from a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea. As well as the 52 foot swimming pool there is a modern gym sauna and steam room. The hotel has received awards for its environmental policies and disabled access. The village is an hour's drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh and the Mill Hotel is just 1.4 miles from Lanark Railway Station.

Lovely room, great view

Liked: Room was lovely, clean and bright with a nice view over river
Disliked: Food -wasn’t very hot Another rooms tv was very loud at night

Our trip was to celebrate...

Liked: We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and always enjoy going back. The hotel has a unique character set in a fascinating setting with wonderful walks.
Disliked: My partner has a gluten allergy and we found that the options for dinner and in particular breakfast were limited.

Most enjoyable but spoiled by...

Liked: Everything was perfect .Location staff , spa area . Food . only negative was nothing on at night . Bar had no atmosphere no music so bit disappointing. Also nothing in Lounge area . Need to have something for Patrons in the evening
Disliked: Evenings nothing for patrons after dinner service
