Liked: I liked the hotel. It had the 1920 vibe and was clean.
Disliked: Be careful booking a room here. They charge extra fees and are reluctant to let you now when checking in. Got me with the extra $34 per day. But I know now. Shame on me.

Decent place at a decent...

Liked: Location to downtown was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and fairly clean.
Disliked: I was not a fan of the vintage style tub with the round shower curtain surrounding it. I understand it goes with the times but it's for me.

Liked: Staff, hotel, location.
Disliked: A hidden 30.00 service fee the property charged my card after we left! So shady!!

Worn, dated budget hotel with...

Liked: The location is great, if your goal is to stay downtown. Check-in fast and easy. There is free parking, however you have to park 300m away from the hotel, around the street corner at a large multi-story municipal parking garage.
Disliked: In case of this hotel, "Historical" really means "old and dated". Everything is just... old, worn, shabby. No elevator to upper floors - might be a huge problem for persons with limited mobility. The bathrooms are TINY. I mean, like, REALLY tiny. Tiniest I have ever seen in a hotel, on par with the airplane bathrooms. If you are a "person of size", you will NOT fit. Sound insulation between the floors is lousy, so you WILL hear your upstairs neighbors walking around, shaking the windows in YOUR room. Beds are large but not particularly comfy. The in-window air conditioning unit is adequate but very noisy. The bar in the tiny lobby was closed when we returned to hotel at 9PM... so was was the check-in counter, with no staff in sight.

Liked: Stayed many times.Coffee at bar and cocktails and staff are fantastic.Love the historic cozy vibe.1 night we were on our way out...passed the bar (and awesome bartenders) and then never left.Well at closing we did.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like.Had all that i needed.Maybe some snacks at bar.
