Liked: I liked the parking, offered breakfast, and earlier check in.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the tub filled up over my ankles when showering, the ac/ heater was lil to noisy had to get up several times to shut off then turn on. And unfortunately someone fromCleaning didn’t knock on my door opened my door at 10 even though check out at 11.

Lovely hotel catering to Japanese...

Liked: This was a little slice of Japanese hotel heaven in Los Angeles. Our room was a good size and had an interesting view to the south. The Japanese breakfast option (fish and rice or curry and rice) along with the American option was lovely - and all the food we ate was delicious. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Parking was free and easy to use. Gardena had a lot of cute choices for eating, and was otherwise pretty quiet and felt safe at night (in contrast to some other reasonably priced parts of LA we had been to).
Disliked: We needed to go down to the ground floor for coffee/tea - a kettle and little fridge would be a lovely improvement. The facilities were a little dated, but not unreasonably considering the price. The pool was closed which was unfortunate.
