I was surprised at how pleasant the interior was given the scaffolding outside. The historical bicycles etcetera were intriguing as was the lovely van in the quadrangle. I had no idea what to expect from the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I would stay there again.

Liked: The room was in a quiet spot; clean and the reception staff very helpful.
Disliked: No. All good.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Liked: Replacement room was much better. Receptionist very helpful and polite.
Disliked: First room was very claustrophobic and unsafe as there was window access to flat roof.

A great central position, perfect...

Liked: The location was very central and although at the front of the building on the high street we experienced no issues with noise. Staff were all lovely and helpful, cleaners keep the rooms lovely and the beds are comfortable. A full size fridge , kettle and microwave were really useful to have. Has a lovely cellar bar called Ren's opposite, great live music and food, A short walk to the Quay with plenty of shops and restaurants
Disliked: Although advised to leave electric key in to keep heating on, think it may have been on a timer as it went off and it was quite cold on times. Lot's of condensation on the single glazed windows.

Liked: The location is very good for us because we visit every year for a weekend event at the Guildhall.
Disliked: The only room with disabled facilities is a family room for three people. This means we have to pay for a bigger room than we need to get the facilities.
