The toilet room
Liked: Location
Disliked: Stayed at the resort recently and, unfortunately, ended up with rooms that were supposed to overlook Hastings Street. While we were prepared for a lively street view, we weren’t informed that the rooms actually overlook public toilets. It was quite disappointing, especially considering we paid the same rate as other guests with better views. It would have been considerate of the resort to let us know about this in advance. This issue aside, the rest of the stay was enjoyable, but the lack of transparency about the view was definitely a letdown

Not what we expected for...
Liked: The location of the establishment.
Disliked: Really disappointing for the money we paid per night - Our room patio was right on top of the pool with no privacy. With people leaning over the pool fence talking looking directly at us while we sat uncomfortable on the patio. We asked if we could move rooms because of the pool noise and lack of privacy on our patio. We understood that there was no vacancies for that night, however they offered to move us the following night but we had to check out 10am and wait until 2 pm to check back in. This was not suitable as we were there for a 40th birthday lunch and we needed to get ready. The garbage truck on both mornings arrived at 4.30am and it was like it had arrived at the end of the bed. The walls are paper thin and we heard every person that walked past.
