Wonderful Location Spending Xmas In...

Liked: Friendly Staff and enjoyed the fact there was tea and coffee making facilities on the ground floor. really liked having a balcony for that crisp December air.
Disliked: could do with some side lights, or dimmer to create a mood. it's either lights blazing or off. And there was no switch to control these near the bed.

Recommended

Liked: It is not central, however just a subway ride away to the central. The hotel is small, had a nice view from our 7th floor and very convenient to have a subway station only a few minutes away.
Disliked: The area is quiet in the evening and maybe we did not venture around to see what else it could offer. However, we used to spend most of our days outside so no real issue.

Disliked: Dated, curtains and carpet were grubby, could do with refreshing, a lick of paint?

Good

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful.The kitchen facilities were an added bonus.
Disliked: The carpet in the bedroom was awful.There was not a duvet on the bed and so it was cold at night.

Too expensive for poor attention...

Liked: There was a fight between staff members and everyone heard it. I like that there was at least one mature employee that broke up the altercation.
Disliked: The room was dirty with hair, mold, and stains all over the resting area and bathroom. I paid online and the room was nom refundable and the cleaning staff was gone for the day. I would never spend my money at an establishment like this ever again. It was filthy, small and the roaches were present and accounted for.

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is 2 blocks away from the Subway about 8 minutes walking.It takes about 20 minutes to get to Central Park using the subway.There’re restaurant options nearby the hotel. We recommend Cafe Xochimilco The bedrooms are small but very clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job every morning to clean the room.We had a very good sleep. Beds very comfortable!Good water pressure in the shower with all the toiletries needed. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helped us in every way they could.

We will always stay at...

Liked: We have stated here eight times because it is near our son's apartment. Traveling into the city is very easy.Love that it's not a fancy hotel, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are small but fine some with great views of the skyine and some with a terrace.
Disliked: Nothing. Well, maybe a more comfortable common area. We appreciate the small kitchen area but in the winter not too comfortable for sitting. The outside garden is nice in the good weather.
