Great location to Subway,Nesva showing...

Liked: I had stayed at Nesva on previous trips to LIC, NY so I like its location to Subway. Now that LIC is getting revamped it is getting to be a cleaner area with more food choices with Foodhall. The Coffee Shop across the street (Artpresso) was very nice and covenant location with good coffee and breakfast items. I really enjoyed our view of Manhattan Skyline from our Room.
Disliked: Shower not drain properly, vent did not work, had to open window a crack to vent steam. Looks like it needs a total remodel and is showing its age. Dutchkill area is a bit rundown and feels sketchy but going south closer to Hunters point it is so much cleaner and feels safe. I have a feeling that it won't be long until Nesva will have to bump it up a notch to keep up with the changing look of LIC. Maid only came in 2 times when we were there and 2nd time did not give us new towels, but took one towel that was dirty without a replacement. I had to go to maid and ask for 2 more towels for the rest of the week. Mattress was old and not comfortable but lumpy, blankets were not very good they would not stay on bed because of the texture and weight. carpet needs replacement, stains all over. Sad that their Free Breakfast that we had in 2016 was no longer offered.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable room with a great view, reasonably close to subway connections including JFK via Jamaica. Efficient and professional staff and there are good food options nearby. For evening arrivals at JFK it’s ideal as it’s hassle-free and easy to get to Manhattan in the morning.
Disliked: Nothing major to report other than a very small lobby with Fox News playing loudly, which is not the warmest welcome in these heated times…

A hidden gem in Queens

Liked: I've stayed here more than 5 times at this point. I like the price point. The location is great, close to the train and super quiet. I also think this hotel has one of the best beds in its price range.
Disliked: The only thing I w8sh they had were better pillows. The ones they have are synthetic and you need to stack a bunch to feel comfortable.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff was very polite and helpful. The bed was confortable and the hotel is near two metro stations.
