Disappointing

Liked: The 2 bedroom apartment & rooms were very clean and comfortable once we'd been moved out of the one apartment that smelled of fish. The staff were lovely that we dealt with but there seemed to be a lack of communication between them regarding our rooms
Disliked: One of the apartments smelled of fish - we complained & someone came and sprayed 4 sprays of air freshener,it was actually comical. We complained again and asked to be moved. We were moved to 2 rooms instead of a 2 room apartment- absolutely fine with this but we asked if we could keep these rooms for the duration of our stay to save us moving. We were told yes but the next day we got a call asking us why we'd not checked out. I explained the conversation from the previous night and how we'd had to be moved because of the smell & they'd agreed we could keep the rooms for the duration of our stay. The guy apologised and said that was fine. I again asked if we could keep the rooms for the duration & was told yes. I checked when we returned at tea time & was assured we did not need to move the next day ( the next day was an additional booking) The next morning I check at reception as we were going out to be told yes I did to need to move rooms. I'm not upset about having to move I'm upset about the lack of communication between the staff.

I liked it so much...

Liked: The location was brillant and front line staff were so helpful. Checking in and out was easy and was done very quickly. Our rooms were of a high standard and were easily excessible. Would recommend to anyone who was wanting to stay in Auckland
Disliked: I like a soft bed and I did find the bed a little hard for my liking, though my partner thought it was great.
