I’d definitely come back

Liked: I loved the property and location. It was really beautiful, very quiet and my room was perfect. All the staff were wonderful expect one at check in.
Disliked: I found check in a little strange. I was greeted by a younger man and he was very helpful and welcoming, I received a glass of champagne and he took my luggage. But I had to wait quite a while for a woman to come over and check me in whilst I sat, but I was giving personal details and another couple were so close by and they could hear everything. She also asked for card details but honestly didn’t feel comfortable giving them because of this. I think maybe a better check in process would be helpful.

Wonderful, relaxing & luxurious stay...

Liked: The bedroom was wonderful, a huge & extremely comfortable bed, a great bathroom with a bath & shower and the turndown fudge was so cute!
Disliked: The food in the bar was okay! Nothing necessarily wrong but I didn't think the food that we had matched how nice the menu read.

Lovely two night break with...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent with a buffet to start with fruit, cereals and pastries. Then you can order from kitchen a hot dish. We had the full Scottish breakfast both days.The location is on Ness Walk, next to the river, it is quiet and 10minute walk from the city centre.The restaurant also do evening tasting menus which was excellent. As well as a lounge menu.The bedroom was comfortable with a separate toilet to the bathroom, which had both a walk in shower, a bath and twin sinks. I stayed in a king room with a private patio. This particular room could be seen from the restaurant area so not fully private, however the rooms in the other side are perfectly secluded.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Would have liked the a la carte menu to have been available.
