I will be back and...
Liked: The exterior reflects the interior.Absolutely gorgeous facility restored to top notch quality.Bed, bathroom and pentry was perfect.Reading chairs by the window invited to a moment of work and reading a book.Personal cooked breakfast added to the experience.I could write a lot more positive details.Earlier during this trip I stayed a 5 star Dr Holms in Geilo, I clearly prefer this place.
Disliked: Only one small reflection at arrival and the property lacked clear indication as to were I could park my van.

Tip top thumbs up for...
Liked: A wonderful atmosphere is encountered when you enter the house where you are welcomed by a wonderful host. The food that was served testifies to giving the guest a very special experience. We can only recommend the place

Unique place to stay
Liked: The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is very unique to stay in a 125-year-old hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Since we didn't dare to open the old windows, the table fan was very much appreciated! Breakfast was good,
Disliked: I should have understood that "budget" room meant "shared bathroom." We weren't 100% comfortable with that after checking in but before using the room, so I emailed the owner, asking what the cost would be to upgrade ( there was just another couple in another room and us). (Note-there is not staff on the premises 24/7.) I never heard back. It ended up being okay in the end, but we would have preferred a private bath. The young men race their loud cars up and down the main street, Kaffegata, late at night., and squeal their tires. The hotel is just off that main drag. We live in a very quiet area so this kept me up the first night, but the next night I seemed to be able to filter it out better. I think this is probably a problem anywhere in Flisa, as it is a small town. The bath has a hair dryer but no outlet. I brought it to our room, but the cord didn't reach both an outlet and a mirror. End result was two bad hair days!
