Pleasant
Liked: The artwork at the hotel was simply amazing—vibrant colors and striking visuals made the space feel truly inviting. The lobby was very comfortable, as was the lounge area where the restaurant is located. The location was good, but, of course, being on Cuba St, the noise from the street was a challenge. The room was nice but not very functional. The staff was wonderful, and special recognition goes to the cleaning team, who did an exceptional job. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and the temperature was perfect. The WiFi was free and worked well. Additionally, the staff kindly accommodated our luggage while we explored the city.Close to nice restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
Disliked: The location was good, but, of course, being on Cuba St, it was a bit challenging due to the noise from the street. The room was nice but not functional at all. There was a huge gap between the ranch door of the bathroom and the wall, running from top to bottom. It was large enough to fit my whole hand through, offering no privacy whatsoever—especially given the small size of the room. The fan was completely ineffective—it provided no airflow, no matter how fast it was spinning. This forced us to open the windows, which resulted in even more noise from the street. The pool experience was disappointing. The hot pool was out of order and empty due to maintenance. The main pool was dirty, and the water was not warm. However, the room housing the pool was nice and warm. There wasn’t much space besides the pool itself and two toilets for changing. The TV was on the wall, to the side of the bed- my neck was stiff after 10 minutes, as the position is really uncomfortable. The arm on the wall did not stretch much either.

A brief but comfy stay...
Liked: We really liked the decor in this hotel and we felt that it is in a great location in central Wellington with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We only stayed for one night so weren't able to use all the facilities that the hotel had to offer. We would happily stay there again though.
Disliked: Our room, which was an upgraded type, was a little small in comparison to some of the other hotel rooms we stayed in during our trip. The building that the hotel occupies is older than the other places we stayed, though, and this probably explains the size of the rooms. The windows in our room were single glazed but this wasn't an issue as the temperature was comfortable and our room was an internal one so it was quiet. If the weather had been warmer the room may have been uncomfortable.
