Liked: Clean and tidy. Well appointed for a small room.
Disliked: The toilet cubicle was extremely small. Would have been useful to know there was no lift. Hotel has a steep winding staircase typical of an old converted french building.

Liked: It was really clean, the staff was friendly and it was affordable priced.
Disliked: The soundproofing is inexistent, the area is a bit shady.

A Good Hotel in Mont...

Liked: The hotel building has ancient architecture and the Basilica is visible from the hotel room. Breakfast is amazing with franch pastry. We really enjoyed it. The receptionist was also helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There is no elevator but only spiral stairs. It'd be so kind if the staff could help us bring up our luggages although I suppose that kind of service is not common in France.

Liked: Staff refused to provide pepper to go with the eggs at breakfast!
Disliked: The staff at reception will make you wait until they finish their private conversation before they deign to listen to you or check you in. After they called a taxi for us they hassled the driver demanding he pay them a commission. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly.We were woken throughout the night by guests in the stairwell, the sensor lights shining through the large gap under the door and and the noise of their talking and the creaking stairs. The sliding door to the bathroom did not properly close and there was no furniture except a chair and a bed. It is close to a metro station but the area is quite rough.
