Disappointing

Disliked: The place has a strange smell, there were hairs on my sheets and in the shower, and there was a guy staying on my floor who was talking to himself very loudly all night. I ended up leaving early because I couldn't sleep there. The owner knew this guy was staying there, but when I complained in the morning after one of the nights he really made a lot of noise, the owner said I should've called reception or the police. I didn't think anyone would be at the reception at 3 AM.

Modest hotel with character very...

Liked: Clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a low cost place very near to UC Berkeley this is a good option.
Disliked: TV reception & channel selection is limited.

Great location. Although disappointing in...

Liked: Its location was fantastic. It has an old style to it. The hotel has vending machines with drinks and snacks - also a restaurant.
Disliked: Cramped, shared bathroom, no wardrobe or closet or hanger to hang our things on.
