Liked: Room, hotel very good. Staff so friendly. All keen to know everything was ok.Only one comment. The sticky toffee pudding wasn’t great. Didn’t seem home made. For £7.95 excessive, for tiny portion!Otherwise dinner and breakfast excellent. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you.

A gem of a place.

Liked: Stayed here overnight while visiting friends. Arrived a lot earlier than expected but were greeted with warmth by a lovely lady who said as our room was ready we could check in at once. We were in room 1, ground floor. Really cosy room with a comfy bed and to my personal joy, an en-suite with enough shelf space for all our soap and cosmetic bags. Lots of wardrobe/drawer space. ( Larger hotels please note!).Breakfast next morning was extremely nice. Served by another lady who certainly knows how to cook! Had the full welsh and everything was cooked perfectly..All in all an excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend without hesitation.
Disliked: Only slight thing....... .it was a very cold night and whilst cosy and warm in bed, could have the heating turned back on a tad earlier than 7.30 as it was a bit chilly getting dressed before then, but wouldn't affect our return.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were so lovely and the food is fabulous! It's a lovely cottage-feel hotel, very welcoming.
