Disliked: The air-conditioning unit went off every 15min all night... Then the bells from the church got about 1hr sleep hahaha but was nice all the same

lovely 70's room with cozy...

Liked: I loved the vintage 70's vibe of the room! The workers there were incredibly kind and really helpful! the bed was comfertable. the room was very small, but i loved how cozy that felt! i had a backyard view.
Disliked: It was quite dusty, I'm not allergic so no problem for me but I can imagine it might irritate the sensitive. I also had a shower that didn't drain well which made the shower a bit stressful.

Cheap and Friendly - fine...

Liked: Location was great, really close to the centre and it was nice and quiet outside so could get a decent nights sleep.
Disliked: The rooms were tiny, and you had to hand your keycard back when you left the hotel room - I'm not sure if that's a normal thing to do in Amsterdam, but it felt a bit strange. Also, the stairs are crazy steep!

Liked: Location was whatwe wanted.Close to transport,shops and cafes.
Disliked: Better range for breakfast.

Perfect central base with lovely...

Liked: Fantastic location! a few minutes from the Anne Frank house, ten minutes from the red light district and twenty minutes to the train station.We had a balcony with views of the canal and Westerkerk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was nice, with lovely views also. Our room was small and old but clean and had the bonus of a free fridge and safe. Perfect base.
Disliked: There are a lot of steep stairs which might not be suitable for some but it wasn’t a problem for us.
