The room was dirty. It smelled like mold - we spent an hour cleaning the bathroom and it didn't help much. I will never use this hotel again.

Liked: The room was clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. It appeared to have been recently updated. The couple working at the front desk were very nice. The location is convenient to both the highway and to the Mystic Aquarium.
Disliked: The exterior door to the back wing was non-functioning, so we had to walk all the way around from the front reception area. The whole place looked like it had been abandoned for years, and it seems the owners are trying to fix it up. There really need to be more lights in the rear parking area. It was very dark and a little scary.

Liked: The location was good for getting around the area but nothing else. The staff was not very helpful our door did not want to open and it took about three people to get it fixed. Also, the room smelled weird and my boyfriend got very sneezy and allergic to the dust.

Liked: What did I like? That I had a place to sleep for the night but that’s about it. My expectations weren’t set too high. I just wanted the place to have a bed and a shower and it did but it has a lot of opportunities.
Disliked: I was very disappointed on the cleanliness of the room. The bed liners had stains. The lamp shade had mold. The bathroom sink wasn’t cleaned and had someone else’s shaved hairs all over it. It was difficult to find the entry to the room even with directions from the staff. And not that I was going to use it but the pool was out of order. When I came in I overheard two different sets of people complain about devices and plumbing not working in the rooms. This place is not fancy by any means. But it has a bed.
