Disliked: When I booked the room, I was very specific and requested to place our room on the higher floor. Upon check in we were allocated in the third floor, I asked kindly in person to please allocate us on a higher floor but the lady in the lobby said there was no availability so I tried again the next day and to my surprise I got the same answer even though they are still selling the same room category as available in booking.com which is very disappointing. As a hotelier myself I know this task is minuscule if you pay attention to the request.The room we got has very small windows with a sad view of the wall of the next building and we were woken up at 2am feeling like we were in a sauna as the heater was on without us knowing about it so we had to have all curtains and windows open to cool up the room. The hair dryer worked for a minute and broke. Upon letting the front desk know they look at me like a silly person asking if I am sure that I pushed the buttons correctly seeming that I was wrong for reporting that the item is defective before I got a new one replaced. It's good to keep in mind that the breakfast is NOT a buffet but a set menu with a choice to order with 2-3 choices in each set. It costs 16Eur for adults and half the price for kids if you book a room without breakfast.Over all if I would opt to come back to Valencia I would definitely upgrade the budget a bit and stay in a nicer hotel for comfort, but MYR Plaza is worth the penny.

Liked: Do you know those trips where the accommodation is so incredible that it makes you want to revisit the city? This is one of them.The location is unbeatable, right in front of Mercado Central. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring the city center on foot—beautiful, vibrant, and surprisingly peaceful. It's also just a 2-minute walk to several supermarkets and surrounded by fantastic boutique restaurants offering authentic and affordable meals.We've stayed here multiple times, in different rooms, and each visit has been exceptional. The rooms are modern, newly furnished, and incredibly comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the kitchens are impressively well-equipped for those who prefer cooking.The staff deserves special mention—they are consistently amazing. Always helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind, they truly enhance the experience. The spa, though compact for a city-center location, is well-maintained and feels brand new. The massages are a must-try and were a highlight of our trip.This place is 100% recommended, whether you're traveling with kids or without. We will undoubtedly return. A big thank you to the staff for making every stay so memorable!

Small friendly hotel

Liked: staff were very helpful. room comfortable. everything we needed in the kitchen for a short stay. one free spa visit was a plus. Good location in the centre of the city. Opposite market which is worth a visit.
Disliked: The shower did not have much power. The water in the spa hot tub was not hot, just warm. The steam room was very good. The tiling in the spa around the hot tub was extremely slippery, with or without slippers. The lighting in the bathroom was poor.

Good
