Occupying a privileged position on the edge of Sherwood Forest this Nottinghamshire hotel is a haven of unrivaled tranquility and natural beauty; an ideal base for exploring the county. Conveniently placed for the M1 and A1 the hotel is also close to Worksop Retford Blyth and Edwinstowe. Exceptional

really pleasant stay

Liked: The room has had a makeover and was much more modern than we expected. Its a rare find for a triple room but it was super comfy. Breakfast was really pleasant and we wandered into a murder mystery night which was honestly the best night ever!
Disliked: The room was in the newer side but there wasnt and temperature control - it actually got a bit hot in the middle of the night

Liked: The staff were amazing from first getting there to leaving . The murder mystery event we went to was great and we would definitely come here again to see one

Liked: This is a fantastic hotel based in Clumber. The staff team were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It felt very much like an extended home stay. The team were attentive and kind and welcoming through out the whole stay. Especially the manager John and Pamela.The food was lovely and the price for the steaks ( cooked to perfection was a steal .. you could really see how well the other guests were accommodated for. The facilities are great value and the breakfast excellent .This is a great find for the price and location.

Liked: The staff were great. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: We stayed in the restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately I'd only rate the food as "OK".
