A good Sea Front Hotel

Liked: Good location on sea front Easy to find Parking at the front and at the rear of the HotelStaff were friendly at reception and at the barWe had a family room which turned out to be a little chalet at the rear of the propertyOverall a nice placeNo real issues
Disliked: A little overpriced considering the room was £40 cheaper the day before The carpet in the family room at the rear of the property is a little stained Perhaps replacement in order Overall no real bad things

It was a unique unforgettable...

Liked: Hotel location is amazing. Staff was very welcoming. I am a vegetarian and staff helped me to serve daal and rice and very tasty meal. Specially Mr Satyajeet and his team made us comfortable with the meals.We were late for dinner but still all helped us to serve tasty hot meal and soup. We got our instant food cooked with the help of staff which we could carry while going for sight seeing. I am very thankful to all.

Disliked: Where to start !!Booked specifically as they have indoor swimming pool & steam room BUT only after I had paid a non refundable payment was then informed pool was closed. As I was travelling 3 hours in car was hoping for relaxing afternoon with a swim &. Steam room so didn’t pack any swimwear after being informed it was closed. When we arrived at 14-15 told room not ready which was not unexpected as check in was at 3pm however as I sat in reception area, there were others checking in and even told it wasn’t too busy so not sure why my room wasn’t ready. We were told we’d be informed at 3pm when we could check in, however at 15-10pm my wife was getting frustrated & went again to ask if room ready as was over the check in time only for original receptionist to look but not say anything but other girl said yes your room is ready. Why they didn’t tell us at 3pm I don’t know as we were sitting 15 feet from desk. We then checked in and told on top floor but with a lift we didn’t mind as I can’t walk up 3 flight of stairs with my osteoarthritis…..we went to the lift which was NOT working and had to carry case up 3 flights which was not pleasant. I firmly believe they were hoping lift would be fixed by 3pm and that’s why they said m bc room wasn’t ready , however I believe it was…..I complained and they moved me to first floor ……then I was informed the pool was open big too late as didn’t bring swimwear after being informed it was closed although I did get a written apology from them……So, no pool or steam room use, lifts not working and still not working by 9am follies v morning and room not ready on time ……not a great start……went for quiet drink at bar and although staff were pleasant , they were responsible for reception also so had to wait to get served a lot plus very inexperienced at working behind a bar……on another note I’ve never seen any bathroom in any hotel I’ve stayed in, hang the towels directly above the toilet ……very weird

Great view

Liked: Great view from front of property. Room was fine and breakfast great. Informative staff at check in. Stephanie at check out was pleasant. Parking at rear and some at front. Overall a nice stay and would use the Brand again.
Disliked: Manager walked around to serious looking to welcome staff. Needs to relax more around guests. Did not feel that previous reports I read reflected the good experience I had.
