Absolutely wonderful!

Liked: This property is pure magic. There are two units and we have stayed in both of them. They are superbly appointed with some lovely little touches and a wonderful breakfast, beautifully presented, delivered to your unit each morning. Richmond is a beautiful place brimming with history and Mulberry Cottages have a wonderful story themselves. This is one of the best b&b’s we have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend it. Don’t miss Maureen’s delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast!!
Disliked: That we couldn’t stay longer!!

Warm & welcoming stay in...

Liked: Hubby & I loved everything about our 2 night stay @ Maureen & Robbie's private & gorgeous B&B - the property oozes loads of heritage charm & history (we chose the Garden Cottage). Also found it very convenient after driving all around Tassie for 3 weeks to be able to easily walk to the town centre to explore the old bridge, gaol, shops, cafes, etc, and to walk to dinner each night at the pub. Upon checking-in, Maureen's warm hospitality made us feel instantly welcomed & right at home and it's obvious that so much thought has gone into the cottage, grounds and beautiful gardens to create a tranquil, comfortable environment for their guests to relax and enjoy themselves. The breakfast hampers Maureen provided and delivered to us each morning were wonderful too! It was the perfect end to our holiday and we would happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

A perfect heritage stopover

Liked: Maureen was very welcoming. Both the Garden Cottage and the Chalet were perfect. The accommodation decor and gardens were in keeping with the heritage feel of Richmond.The breakfast was outstanding - better than any other bnb we have stayed at in Tasmania.

Liked: This property and the owner are absolutely charming. It is a lovely restored historic cottage in an equally beautiful town of Richmond. So much information was supplied about the history of both the cottage and the town; so interesting. The gardens have been restored and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy all the work put in. The breakfast comes delivered in the morning to your door and is lovely. In fact we loved it all so much that we have booked another day at the end of our road trip.
Disliked: There is nothing to find fault with at Mulberry Cottage; it is lovely.
