New Years visit

Liked: Good location for getting into town and lots of eateries nearby. We arrived at 7am and although our room wasn't ready, we were able to take a shower which was welcomed after a long flight! Room amenities were great e.g. coffee machine and black out blinds
Disliked: Room was on the small side and had a frosted window you couldn't open, but fine for a couple of nights stay.

Worst regular rooms and terrible...

Disliked: Rooms were exceptionally small. Offered to pay for an upgrade and was initially told they couldn't due to the system. Eventually, I negotiated an upgrade and was advised it would be $500 extra, which I was happy to pay.During one night, I came down to reception to request extra bath salts and the reception staff had no idea what I was talking about and kept offering me soap. I asked to look in the storage area and immediately found them and he said he had never seen them before.Upon check out, I wanted to settle the bill for the extra $500 and I was told it was actually $588. I was served by the same person that checked me in and I protested that I upgraded on the basis that it was $500 or I would have gone somewhere else. She refused to honour the price she quoted, saying it was the system. She then couldn't process the payment on any of my cards, again a system issue She said.I sent two emails of complaints to no answer.Do NOT STAY HERE.
