This was a very cool...

Liked: The simplicity of the rooms was great. The bar and check-in were great experiences. The service staff was wonderful--the valet and the check-in/bar staff specifically.
Disliked: The lighting in the room left a lot to be desired. It was too dark and the lights that were there were too 'focused'.We had trouble with the tv in the room, talked to someone twice and they supposedly 'fixed it' twice. Never was fixed. We also let the staff know that there was water coming up through the tiles in the bathroom. Someone came to look at it but the problem was never solved.

Liked: The decor and the fun atmosphere of the lobby.
Disliked: The parking was valet, but the parking lot was directly across the street from the hotel. It should not have been mandatory. The valet attendant wanted tips, plus it was $11 a day to park across the street. I didn't give a tip one evening. The next morning, I needed air in my tire. That was strange because the vehicle has new tires and the air remains the rest of my trip. Just stating the facts.

Liked: The location to the beach. The pool looked nice.
Disliked: Oh....where do I begin.....first, I hated the forced valet. The room itself was incredibly small, the staff (front desk and valet) were rude, the shower had very luke warm/cold water with bad water pressure(even though I had the reservation during off season and the hotel was nowhere near capacity), I was loudly awakened at 8am to the sound of construction right outside the balcony. However, the cherry on top was that my door did not lock and shut all the way and i had someone walk into my room around 4am. I booked over 7 rooms during a 10 day stay and even though this hotel was the most expensive it was by far the worst experience. I will never book a room at a Moxy again and I couldn't wait to get far away from this place.

Liked: I was there for work and also brought my pets and wife so i would recommend for get a way from pets and work but not for business or work purposes. the rooms were too small and there was not enough attention to trash bags so if we did not put trash outside of room it would have built inside the room, which very unsanitary.
Disliked: The size of the rooms need to be more emphasized on the website before people book!

Liked: The staff from check-in to Valet were fabulous. The gym was well appointed and comfortable. The room was compact, which was stated in the advertisement, but the pictures didn't really accurately show how small.
