Great hotel & location

Liked: We had a great stay close to the centre of Utrecht. The staff were friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean, modern and had everything you needed for a few nights stay. The location was good however if you're not massive on walking then the 20/25 minute walk may not be for you. We enjoyed this walk along the canal into the heart of the city and found some great places along the way!

Hold back on the disinfectant.

Liked: Staff were super helpful and friendly.
Disliked: My room stank of disinfectant which triggered my asthma. Room small. No fridge in room. No kettle or coffee in room.

Liked: * Beautiful location*Train station right across the street* 24hr front desk* Room service is quick and efficient* Breakfast was really good - salad bar, bread bar, cereal bar, milk bar(with about 5 different types of milk Inc. non dairy) coffee and juice machine, dessert bar, great scrambled eggs and some more breakfast items that changed every day and everything tasted fresh and kept well warm. Well worth the money.* The dinner option at the lobby restaurant was also very good although a little pricey and not a lot of options to choose from, the food was great. along with the alcohol bar, I'd say go for it if you want to spare traveling to find a good place to eat (try the ribs).* Room was kept clean everyday, we had a mess of clothes everywhere and the staff ignore it while cleaning they go around it so keep that in mind* Smart TV that lets you stream content from your phone with ease* can open room windows (very important)* quite a quiet area
Disliked: * Room size was quite small* Bathroom size was also a bit too small* Wi-Fi speed was very limited* No trash bags in bins* No closed closed for clothes in room, only a hanger area* Prices for water bottles, soft drinks and energy drinks was very high In my opinion* Lobby area was toasty

Liked: Close to Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn, the personnel is super friendly and hospitable, the breakfast was really nice and the overall atmosphere is relaxed.
Disliked: The AC/heating in my room did not work very well which resulted in my room being very warm. I ended up opening the windows at all times bc otherwise it would be too warm.
