Liked: The location was absolutely perfect. I was going to a show at the Fox Theater and it was just a 6 minute walk. I felt very safe for being a solo female traveler in Oakland. The hotel had hot coffee and tea always readily available that was complimentary & also a complimentary glass of wine or beer at the bar when you checked in. They dont have a restaurant, but have a small bites menu at the bar for a few hours during the afternoon till evening and a little grab & go section 24'7. There is also a lot of restaurants with in walking distance. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Definitely would recommend staying here if you are doing things in uptown Oakland.
Disliked: I did wish the terrace on the second floor was open just a little later than 9pm, but still enjoyed it in the mid afternoon the next day.
