Disliked: no shelf in the shower. everything gets set on the floor.

Decent value, well-situated

Liked: Nice fitness area, free coffee, modern design, nice view from the room.
Disliked: Weird experience checking in, warning me about keeping the window on my car cracked so people don't smash it and steal stuff. I appreciate the heads up, but when greeting a new guest try a different approach. Also why turn on all the lights + AC after cleaning the room when no one is there? That's bizarre and wasteful.

Disappointing

Very cute hotel and wonderful...

Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful, free coffee actually tasted good, bar in lobby was quite nice. A short walk from the fox theater which is why we traveled to Oakland.
Disliked: The bed wasn’t very comfortable, the hallway on our floor wasn’t super clean

Disliked: No in-room coffee, though morning coffee service at the front desk/bar was great.

Liked: The location was near a lot of things. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
Disliked: The fire sprinkler right outside of our room was leaking. There was a "wet floor" sign with a garbage can to catch the water and we could hear the dripping sound from our bed. Fortunately, we had a white noise machine to drown it out while we slept, but it made relaxing in the room difficult. I have also never been in a darker hotel room
