Liked: Cool place and nice bar with good music on Saturday night and the cafe area is comfortable. The restaurant Cathédrale is good too ! Great location!
Disliked: The room was really small as they did not have the executive room anymore. But the style is cute and the room is well designed. The issue was the light switch: impossible to just get the bed light work! A because t frustrating bf! Also the water was 5$ for a small bottle! Could give two little water for free I think.

Liked: Great location, rooms extremely tiny not enough hangers to store cloths, crew seem to try and communicate as little as possible not offering help or airport services not very warm communication which is disappointing at such a small hotel.

Liked: Considering the price and the general standard of hotels in NYC, we were really blown away by this hotel. Firstly, the location is phenomenal: 5 minutes walking distance to Union Square, 15 minutes walking distance to Washington Square Park and also close to many cool spots in the East Village. While the queen rooms are fairly small, they are set up in a very smart way, and the many hooks and hidden storage spots meant that we were able to organize our things nicely. The shower in comparison was quite spacious and had good water pressure. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the rooms were - we could not hear any sirens or traffic noises when we went to bed so we slept very well (jet lag aside). Lastly, I’d like to point out that the staff was very accommodating, providing extra duvets and towels when we needed them. We had a misunderstanding with the destination fee and they have been very gracious about it. The price of the room includes a Destination Fee that gives you a daily 30 usd voucher for both the hotel café/bar and the laundry services. Personally, we found these vouchers extremely helpful and we were happy to be able to get our first morning coffee at the hotel before going out to explore the city.
