Brilliant city break spot –...
Liked: Fantastic location – super easy to find and just a short walk from the heart of Times Square. Surrounded by loads of great restaurants, so you’re never short of options for food and drinks. The staff were incredibly welcoming at check-in, with a special shoutout to Ricky who went above and beyond with helpful tips and recommendations. The room was compact, as expected for NYC, but well-designed and had everything we needed. The rooftop bar was a real bonus – perfect spot to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. Would definitely stay again!
Disliked: It was a bit noisy at night - lots of cars/trucks/general noise. And no moisturiser in the room.

Good location for a city...
Liked: Location is great - room was spacious and cleaned everyday. Bed was comfy and amenities good.
Disliked: Be aware of the music from the rooftop bar (club). We got booked into a room on the 16th floor and it was unbearably loud. Even with noise cancelling from my headphones I could still make out the lyrics from the songs that were playing. Lobby and even elevator have really “clubby” music playing all day. Have never seen such a wierd elevator system aswell.

Fair quality, although a slightly...
Liked: Fair quality of the hotel, no major surprises, kinda classic Moxy. Nice rooftop bar. The restaurant looked really nice too, although we didn't try the food. Good location for midnight snack, right below the hotel you can buy pizza, pasta, and around the hotel there's plenty of street food available. Very close to Times Square, Bryant park, Madison Square Garden, short walk to Flatiron.
Disliked: Other Moxy hotels are usually nicer and feel more premium, this one was fairly basic, the room and the beds felt kinda cheap, there's no carpet on the floor, etc. Bed fairly small and not particularly comfy. Oh, non-US style of toilet would be nice, this is medieval and disgusting. Kinda pricy, probably given the location. I needed to take this location for various reasons, but generally would recommend picking a different location within NYC, if you can. Last time we stayed at Moxy Lower East Side, and I'd say it's much better location and nicer hotel too. Midtown is not super interesting. The staff was very friendly, but oftentimes the reception areas had spikes in demand and waiting times were a bit too long.
