Nice, but could be nicer...

Liked: It's a nice, trendy hotel that almost feels more like a bar with rooms. I like the sense of humour that is used throughout the hotel in the designs. I almost felt sorry not having a during here because I had a dinner appointment elsewhere.
Disliked: Staff is friendly but having staff run both the bar and the reception isn't a great idea. I had to wait relatively long before being helped checking in.The rooms aren't big, but I could have seen that in the room information. It's not a bit deal because I only stayed one night and only slept and showered there. The shower gel system was annoying though, giving just a tiny bit of soap with each pumping movement.I should have booked a large bed instead of twins; the single beds are relatively narrow and for some reason I didn't have a very good night's rest.Breakfast was good, but not great.

Liked: The staff was really friendly and the overall cleanliness was good. The underground parking was easy to access (height limit of 2,0m in case someone gets there with a van!) and provided plenty of parking spaces.
Disliked: The overall appearance of this hotel. The chosen design might be welcoming for hipsters and young people, but I perceived it as too aggressively unconventional.Getting directly addressed by the staff in an informal way (German: Duzen, using the first name instead of the last name) is a personal no-go for me and definitely a cause not to stay there again. I am still a guest and not a personal friend. For me it felt unprofessional.
