Liked: Rural location and staff
Disliked: In need of refurb, carpets worn, block wood floor in bar area loose. Access to public transport

Liked: It was clean, staff were nice
Disliked: They wanted to charge me extra on arrival when it wasn’t relevant. Went to this hotel 4 times but last time wasn’t pleasant. Paid for breakfast and had to leave. Breakfast used to be buffet now have to order and they take forever to cook the breakfast to serve

Liked: It is a place I have stayed previously. It is convenient and clean.
Disliked: The bed mattress was uncomfortable and probably needs changing

Disliked: Staff could do with some customer service training - 'As I'm sure you were told at check in' wasn't the flippant response I was expecting from a manager. Especially when I was not told.

Overall my stay was not...

Liked: The location was great. Customer service was really good.
Disliked: Checking out at 11am on a Sunday, after a hectic party on the Saturday, could have done with an extra hour of sleep.

Stunningly different Hotel

Liked: Chose an accessible room with my disability and our small dog and were given room 407. The alarm went off for about 15-20 minutes with the lift apparently the cause. I can't use steps and my wife had to navigate the steps, all 8 sets with a dog cage and our luggage.Also on arrival, it took several minutes to convince the young man on reception that we had paid for our breakfast despite his protestations. He finally found our proof online!! This after our 4 hour journey.Ever other member of staff was perfect.Love the hotel and would love to stay again.. Kind regardsPaul.
