Disliked: Coffee machine not working. Requested a replacement the next day but didn’t get one. Complementary items not replenished for the second night but didn’t receive any. Despite asking the following morning. No house keeping services on the second day due to Christmas. Not aware of this on booking or before we arrived. Our expectation on the room upgrade was not met. The hotel staff very professional on check out they would have given us a refund but where unable to due to us booking through booking.comI emailed booking.com on the day of our departure but unfortunately I’ve still not received a reply yet.

Liked: Chose it for its location near to family and the motorway. Bathroom was fab, good lighting and powerful hot shower. Bar/food service was good downstairs.
Disliked: The interiors are looking a little tired and at some point will need to be refreshed. Main gripe was the quality of the mattresses and the coldness of the room. Even with heating fully on, it took forever to get warm. Seriously the beds are very uncomfortable, tolerable for 1 night but that’s all!
