Comfortable family owned 50's style...

Liked: Lovely old 50's style, well cared for, motel units- colorful and enjoyable.Family owned and run - they could not do enough for us! Working on gradual renovations around the units while maintaining the charm and feel.Room to park at the unit and grassed areas front and back.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the air conditioning/heating unit in the room next door had been left on (even though it was vacant)and , because it was very cold overnight, kept kicking in and out which did interrupt our sleep.Otherwise no issues at all.

Good experience all around :)

Liked: Second time staying. Staff is very nice and attentive. Stayed in a double room and the beds were comfortable! Plenty of outlets, a little fridge and coffee maker in the room and the office had a little breakfast station though we didn't partake.

Exceptional

Liked: Rustic feel to the property. Definitely the best view of Mt Jefferson. Shortest route to the Cog Railway over Jefferson Notch. Dewald and family went out of their way to help when my car broke down and I was unable to retun for my last night. Can't thank them enough. And I'll get the key in the mail next time I go to town.
Disliked: Weather. 2 days of sun, 3 days of clouds and rain, but those are the chances you take.

Clean place to lay your...

Liked: Location, Mt. Jefferson right across the street. Welcome light on as we didn't arrive til after 8:00pm, friendly check in person.
Disliked: The bed looked like army surplus with its metal frame and thin blanket. Pillows were almost pancake-flat. It had no footboard and sloped a bit downward. The heater/ac had only one setting: boiling hot or very cold. Noticed a few rips in the carpet.

Liked: Darling mid century motel. Scenic beauty. Great hosts.
Disliked: Could use a bit of updating, especially in bathroom. WiFi sketchy.

Very accommodating staff, very cute...

Liked: We were just there for a few hours to sleep during a road trip and, we wound up getting a really late start. Even though staff wouldnt be available for check in, since we let them know, they were super accommodating and left our key where we could find it. (Feels great at like, midnight when youre tired!) The cabins are all really cute and were plenty of space for all of us to get a good nights sleep and use the facilities. Really cute little porches too
Disliked: The bed was decent from what I heard, but we got a cabin with a bunk too, and the friends who stayed on the bunk had a hard time with the mattresses. I dont know Id expect any different from bunk beds though, probably meant for kids not grown adults hahah.
