Very good

Liked: Nice Quiet room , clean, good temp, good size TV, comfortable good sized bed. Excellent shower. Good breakfast..staff v friendly/helpful.
Disliked: No cupboards for pants/socks etc, no side table, ledge one side of bed.Full length Mirror in darkness after sun goes down. Not enough towels, duvet slightly on thin side. No water in room.

Very comfortable short stay

Liked: Room was very comfortable and equipped with all basic necessities for a short stay.
Disliked: Breakfast was slightly basic. It would be nice to include more warm dishes in the menu - especially during winter times.

Overall, the hotel is ideally...

Liked: I love the location of the Motel One Tower Hill, it’s perfect for getting around London on the train and tube. And, of course, just a few minutes walk from the stunning Tower Bridge.
Disliked: I’ve mentioned this in a few of my reviews already - the rooms do not have safes or refrigerators, nor do they offer a good selection of shower gels/shampoos/conditioners. They have hand wash and a body/hair wash, but that’s it.There are also no USB plugs, only normal power sockets. This is also something I’ve given feedback on before that hasn’t been upgraded.Also this time I was put in a room suitable for somebody who requires wheelchair access, which I do not.

The little things add up!

Liked: Absolutely loved how easy the late check out was. The system they follow is a £10 surcharge per hour for a maximum of 3 hours and it worked very well for us. I loved the crackling fire ASMR that was kept switched on the TV, when we checked in. It was very cosy. And the lovely little note housekeeping leaves on the bed are little details just made us more pleased with the service. For a London hotel, the size of the room was quite good too. Cheers!
Disliked: The water was mostly trickling in the shower. A higher pressure water system would have been wonderful to have quick warm baths in the cold weather. I also recommend the hotel to include tissues on the room table or bedside area and master light switches on both sides of the bed. Apart from the shower, the rest are not major issues. Just suggestions to the management.
