Liked: The hotel’s location was decent, about a 10-minute walk to the city center, which wasn’t bad. That was the only positive aspect.
Disliked: The hotel’s location was really good and close to the city center. However, the room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. Additionally, there was no minibar or kettle with tea offerings, which I found to be a significant drawback. Overall, I wasn’t very impressed. For my next visit to Cologne, I will choose a different hotel.

It's a Motel 1. So......

Liked: It's a Motel 1 - so as it's exactly the same as every other Motel 1. Solid.
Disliked: All good. Nothing to report.

Liked: The hotel itself has a modern style. It felt cozy, and was in a great location. The rooms were small but nice and clean, just like the bathroom.
Disliked: We were quite disappointed with the customer service. Upon arrival, we asked the receptionist to help us translate a sign near the parking area, as we couldn’t figure it out ourselves. She said she didn’t know, which we found odd since it was in German, and we were in Germany.Additionally, we were accommodated in two rooms on different floors. Traveling as a family, this was quite inconvenient. The hotel had contacted us before our visit, and it was confirmed that we were coming as a family with kids, so I was not impressed with being placed on separate floors.During the night, there was a fire alarm, but no staff were present to supervise the evacuation or guide guests. Instead, they remained in the reception area while all the hotel guests congregated in the hall. Thankfully, it was a false alarm, but in a real emergency, I would have expected much better organization from the hotel.
