Convenient to most places but...

Liked: The staff were very helpful. Did their best to help and with crowd control.
Disliked: How the front lounge was full of people struggling with mental health and it did not feel safe. They really need a door person come security guard who can support the staff.

Liked: The location! The breakfast and the staff! The hotel is located close to all type of transports right at your door. Taking the train to Edinburgh at central station right next door will get you there in just one hour. if you travel after 9.15 its half the price! The breakfast was amazing with THE most delicious biological honey and jams I have ever tasted! Beautiful waiting lounge, cosy atmosphere, honestly. A huge and positive surprise. the Room is quite small, but who needs a room when you have a beautiful city at your fingertips and so much to explore! Restaurants, pubs and fast food all a 5 min walk!
Disliked: A smoking room is necessary...Fact is: smokers are part of your clientele and pay as much as the others for comfort and therefore should be catered to. Having a bunch of smokers in hoodies in the rain and wind and Scottish cold at the door is not appealing. Just be friendly to us too...We don't break things, make noise, run rampant. We are friendly and socially oriented. Treat us with some respect:)
