Liked: The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes’ drive from the city center. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance, which made everything super convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived a day late, but they allowed us to use the missed day on a different date, which was a thoughtful gesture and made us very happy. With free parking and an affordable price, this place is a fantastic option in this city. The location is also very quiet at night, making it perfect for rest. Finding such a nice place in a city as beautiful as Quebec City was truly a stroke of luck.
Disliked: I was completely satisfied with my stay.

Liked: Located near a main bus circuit, it is 15 minutes from the centre of the city of Québec. Typical motel on a main suburban boulevard. The staff was kind enough to wait for me to check up in the evening as I was unsure if my train would be late. Excellent wi-fi. Basic comfort. Comfortable bed. Small fridge and microwave but you have to provide your own dish and cutlery.
Disliked: There was a coffee machine but no cup nor glass to drink the coffee. The walls are thin, I could hear the neighbour constantly caugh and groan mornings and nights throughout my stay there. The shower is quite cramped. There are no amenities nearby, no corner store. Given that it was Holiday Season the nearby pizzeria was most of the time closed - not of Motel Giffard's fault.

Liked: Quiet location close to main transit route to the old city.
Disliked: Lack of coffee filter in the coffee maker and water in the shower was tricky to adjust to avoid freezing or burning.
