Overall, I was happy with...

Liked: I mean, it's a Motel 6. Everyone knows the deal. Go in with the lowest expectations, and it may exceed them. For me, this the best stay I've had at a Motel 6 in Northeast Louisiana, ever. I was by myself, and hoping there wouldn't be any noisy neighbors who feel the need to make the balcony their own personal patio. No. not one time. I stayed in my room from Friday at 2:05 PM, until Sunday morning around 9:00 AM. I didn't hear anyone talking, making noise. With the exception of the shadows of people walking by my door, I wouldn't have been able to tell there were any other guests staying. *It's next to a lot of restaurants, like Outback, Cracker Barrell, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Avocado's, and more. There's a Wal-Mart Supercenter and numerous other grocery stores and dollar stores within a two mile radius from Motel 6.*Fast, problem-free wi-fi*It was quiet, although we know it only takes one guest to mess that up.*Friendly staff*Plenty of parking
Disliked: The room was nice, but the bed did have a spring that was protruding out, covered only by the mattress padding. That will become someone's future tetanus shot, if it's not fixed. All they need to do is use a pair of wire clippers on it to cut off the end that it protruding, then put some electrical tape on the end. Or buy a new mattress. It was comfortable though.If you like watching cable, you might want to bring a laptop or tablet. There were 47 channels, and more than half of them either didn't work at all, or play sound. No HBO, no Showtime, No Cinemax. Also, the tv is only 32"inches, although it might have been smaller. It looked tiny. It only goes up to 480p, with several red lines burned into the screen. Guessing it's probably at least 20 years old. I've stayed in a few different motels in the past few weeks that had 300+ channels and bigger, nicer tv's.The floor was greasy, the end tables and table needed cleaning, and I did see a roach make a special appearance in the bathroom. Other than that, I was satisfied with my stay in West Monroe. Thanks Motel 6. I killed that roach, by the way. No need to worry about that one paying a visit.
