An acceptable stay for the...
Liked: The location and price of the property was acceptable for San Diego. My room itself seemed like a more recently renovated one and was clean, with clean linen and bathroom, and ample charging space for electronics. The air conditioner also worked very well. Overall, the room met my needs.
Disliked: The room was very small, even by motel room standards - there was almost no space to even sit in a chair between the bed and the desk area. While my room itself was clean, the motel smelled badly of cigarettes, the lobby carpet was filthy, and I stepped on cigarette butts in the elevator. The motel also provided nothing more than soap bars - no shampoo or conditioner, and the bathroom towels were worn and small.

Bug in room
Liked: My husband & I stayed at Motel 6 in Downtown San Diego, from 3/31 - 4/1/25. Shortly, after we checked into our room, we sat on the bed to eat our lunch, when I noticed something moving on the bathroom floor. I attached a photo of the cockroach, which my husband did kill & dispose of. It is timestamped, which corresponds, with our stay. Needless, to say, we were disgusted and not able to eat the food we had just purchased. I was not able to sleep, for fear, I would feel a bug on me during the night.

Wasn’t a pleasant stay at...
Liked: Where should I start?? I was moved around to 3 different rooms due to uncleanliness, the heater wasn’t working in 2 of the rooms, the phone wasn’t working in one of the rooms… There was a bad odor in the 1st room I was assigned to & also there was no smoke detector in the 1st room I was assigned to… There was urine on the toilets seats from a previous guest, very unsanitary & such a inconvenience for me to move my belongings from room to room on 3 different occasions… The manager on sight name Yoli Terrazas was very rude & unprofessional when I confronted her about those issues the next morning… I had ask for a full refund but was only given half of it back, I did call customer care & the gentleman I spoke with was very polite & professional, he did refund me half of my money back… I was very disappointed in my stay with Motel 6, management has to do better with that attitude & facility…
