Oh Hell, Motel

Liked: The late check in feature at most Motel 6 rentals is always nice, as well as the option for smoking units. At this particular location, unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros.
Disliked: Where should I begin... first off, when I arrived, late after my job, as I was walking to my unit located at the back of the property, there was some sketchy activity going on in one of the units. Loud music and the smell of weed permeated the air. I kept hearing strange sounds all night from my room, like someone was throwing a single stone at my door. At one point I got up to peep out my peephole and I saw someone scuttle off from very near my unit's door.My last critique is in regards to the morning check out staffer. I've stayed at this location twice now, and it has been the same guy. Very rude, overtly condescending, and aggressive in his communication. But this time he went too far. He accused me of smoking in a non smoking room. Even though I requested a smoking room and was told it was indeed a smoking room by the night attendant, he tried to accuse me as he was reluctantly returning my deposit.My shower had no shower curtain, there were wires hanging out of the walls, and the furniture looked as if it was being stored in this room rather than detailing the floor plan. I will not be staying at this location ever again.

Disliked: The people there were antagonizing me about my stay even though I showed them I paid they need a “number” even though I gave them a pin and a confirmation code. Very sketchy didn’t show my billing info, probably trying to scam me out of the deposit fee as well.

Liked: The clerk was exceptionally courteous. She greeted me with a smile, attentively listened to my concerns, and made the necessary arrangements. Instead of declining, she sought a solution. The checkout process was equally seamless; the representative promptly credited my deposit and expressed gratitude for my visit.
Disliked: The facility was undergoing renovations, and I was aware that the furniture was being updated. The staff consented to our request for a lower-level room to accommodate my aunt's disability. However, once we settled in, we discovered missing towels, an unclean bathroom, and a toilet without a lid. We proceeded with our stay, acknowledging that there is room for improvement.
