I was charged for 11-18-2016 even though I was stranded in a blizzard trying to get there. I couldn't call as I had no cell signal. Arrived early morning on 11-19-2016 and tried to explain my situation and they didn't seem to care. The room was cold, heater didn't work very well. Had asked for extra towels and blankets they never brought. Had trouble with noisy neighbors (security was there) to no resolve. Ended up checking out at 5am. The manager offered nothing and did nothing to resolve the problem. No refund, no discount, nothing. I will never stay there again and will not recomend Motel 6 in Roseville MN to anyone!

Liked: The housekeeping staff was super friendly. The room was very clean. I had a perfect location to the ice machine and to see my vehicle.
Disliked: Down volume on remote control didn't work - not a big deal.

Hotel stay from hell

Liked: Outdoor access. Otherwise hotel from hell.
Disliked: I had to be moved to a second room because of no heat and then my room reeked of weed. I don't mind weed , but I am talking smokey. All night long I woke up coughing. Staff did nothing, but said they could move me again. I traveled across the country to get to a funeral. I choked all night and I had to open my door to air out. Hotel seems to have a lot of homeless vouchers.

Liked: What breakfast???? I drove all night from North Dakota to attend the Vikings game in Minneapolis. I arrived a wee bit early and asked for an early check in. The night manager ignored me while he smoked away outside. When he finally noticed me he said check in was 3PM even though empty rooms were clearly available. He told me to come back at 11Am which I did. Again, I was told early check in was not possible when rooms were clearly available.The location was great and the game even better. Too bad the hotel experience was not!

Disliked: This hotel smelled like cigarettes and the guy who checked us in was very short with us and seemed annoyed to be helping us. Someone had used the restroom in our room and not flushed so when we got there we could tell the room hadn't been cleaned fully. I didn't expect a palace for $80 I just wanted polite staff and a clean space that didn't smell HEAVILY of cigarettes. Would definitely not come back.
