The room was filthy. The microwave was broken - t looked like it had been punched in. There was a huge hole in the wall in the bathroom. Big roaches in the bathroom. The fridge looked like someone had thrwn up on it. The lamps by the bed didn't work. And there was no comforter.

Liked: There is no breakfast or coffee. I reserved a King Bed single smoking room. I never got the single king bed, they switched me between 2 double rooms before I finally accepted one. There was no ice in the ice machine, no ash tray and I asked front desk worker several times and he promised to bring me a ash tray but never did. PLUS I had to pay a $50 damage deposit before I could get my room. Yes the deposit is refundable in the morning upon checkout if you don't have damages. I feel $134 payout for one night at this hotel is crazy. The rooms should be $60 everyday flat rate because they offer you nothing, have nothing and everything is old except for the floors, refrigerator and microwave. Inside tub stained, toilet seats stained, sinks stained, towels and bedding was stained. Besides needing money put back into the hotel, the location is GREAT. Right outside the door is a WaWa, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Hardee's, Two 7-Eleven, ABC store, beauty supply store, Smoke shop, Domino's Pizza, Dollar Tree, Church's Chicken, and a couple of Corner stores. Plus about two blocks in walking distance is Historic Downtown Portsmouth with its many ma and Pa shops, so many Bars and Lounge, as well as the Naval Hospital and Several Luxury Hotels. Overall the room was clean, it was relaxing and some noise but tolerable mostly car radios load, just money need to be put back into purchasing new bedding, towels and wash clothes and redoing the tubs, sinks and toilets from years of staining.
