I’d recommend as last minute...

Liked: I liked the area, it was close to where I needed to be both in between Portland and Corpus. Close to grocery store and gas station.
Disliked: I didn’t like that it wasn’t clean. It smelled horrible in the bathroom. The floors were dirty. I couldn’t walk barefoot. When I did I noticed the dirty floors and showered right away. They only provide soap. Bring own toiletries. The toilet seat and sink weren’t cleaned properly. I used the towels to wipe some things down. Then it was difficult to sleep. I had to put a blanket over my face due to flies being in the room, (I was able to swat two of them but there was still about 5 more flies..) it smelled too- there was crumbs in the bed. I then put my own T-shirt over my face to help with the smell of the bed sheets. That helped with the smell.

Liked: I liked that it had a small kitchen.I also liked how it was close to the water.
Disliked: I didn't like how the room smelled like mildew.I didn't like how the room wasn't clean.I also didn't like how the floor was peeling off.
