I would never stay there...

Liked: The only good thing was the bed which was very comfortable.
Disliked: The manager was difficult to understand and was rude and not helpful. I had to make numerous requests to have the battery in the smoke detector replaced and to get the TV to work. At one point I was told to just leave it on all the time. Also I wasn’t reimbursed for the money I lost in a non-functional dryer. The floors in the room were filthy, I had to clean them myself. It was sparsely furnished with very little storage space for clothes, etc. I would never stay there again.

Affordable and the bed was...

Liked: Location was downtown and surrounded by homeless people. However the Motel was behind a gated fence that surrounded the perimeter. Sound: It was relatively ok but there were a lot of sirens all night. I later learned that the hospital was nearby ... which made that make sense. Cleanliness was tolerable but there seemed to be mold in the bathroom. If it wasn't mold then the floors had been cleaned with dirty water. The stopper in the tub did not work and the ice bucket was broken/cracked therefore unusable. However, the mini fridge, microwave, and sink were clean. The room itself is what I expected. A simple, comfortable bed, television and nice overall set-up for a quick, affordable trip. Once I understood the location...I was VERY grateful for the electronic key activated entry gate system. What won this motel over for me ... and I WILL stay again was the attentiveness of the attendant. The online reservation was seemless, the check in was fast and the attendant at Motel 6 went gently out of their way to ensure I was okay in the room I'd chosen online.
Disliked: The homeless that surrounded the perimeter. However, with that said, I am thankful that the Motel has placed a gate system all the way around the property that is only accessible by an electronic key card.

Liked: Two pets stay free policy is good. I noticed that was printed on a poster in the lobby. For the location, the price is reasonable. If you lower your expectations a little bit based on price, and location, you won't be unhappy. Honestly, I usually stay in much better hotels.
Disliked: Refrigerator freezer was iced-over, so the door never shut properly. Some days you could walk into the lobby during the day, other times you couldn't.

Pretty quiet, reasonable rate when...

Liked: It was pretty quiet. Room seemed clean.
Disliked: Coffee machine was broken, no "do not disturb" door hanger. No maid service for my room, anyway.
