I pretty much summed it up above.

Liked: Walking distance to Hollywood Bowl, walk of fame, food, mall, lots of "colorful people" around. Great - real Hollywood experience.
Disliked: Parking is a big problem (12 bucks a day extra, if they have an open spot underground); no shampoo or conditioner; no coffee.

Liked: Property was okay
Disliked: Doors to room not properly on. Leaving a large opening at the top of door. Walls are very then can hear other loud guess in hotel.. there tape on the fooo of my room, stay was not pleasant because I could not sleep at all

Don’t recommend

Liked: The staff were somewhat friendly.
Disliked: The room we got assigned was used and not clean from the previous visitors staying there. The staff was unsure if maid service didn’t clean it or if “homeless got into the room” after maid service cleaned it. The homeless outside were harassing hotel guests. The whole building smelt of cigarette smoke. The flooring in our room was taped down due to damage. We would get woken up in the middle of the night due to loud banging sounds. Our door knob was moving in the middle of night because someone was trying to get in. You have to pay $20 a day for parking (and you’re not guaranteed a spot even if you paid it) they said you could leave your keys with the parking attendant (no thank you) overall we were supposed to stay two nights and ended up checking out after one night.

Overall property is good but...

Liked: Staff was very helpful all the time. Friendly and informative. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Easy check in and out. Hot water. No complaints about the property or staff overall. Offers coffee in the mornings.
Disliked: Walls and doors are very thin. Or maybe other guests were just very very loud. Room next to us was up giggling and screaming until 2 in the morning. There are signs in the hallways asking people to be quiet but after a long day of travel, sightseeing etc. obviously people didn’t respect or read that sign. There aren’t phones in the room so you can’t call to reception. There are homeless in this area, but all we encountered were harmless and they aren’t camped out in the streets, just wandering. We never felt unsafe. There isn’t breakfast but we knew that and were okay with it staying there.

Prime location in Hollywood

Liked: The location was excellent for my needs. It was a ten minute walk from the venue that I was visiting and a stone's throw away from Hollywood Blvd. I arrived early in the morning, so they were able to hold onto my luggage until check in time. I was helped by Manny who was very kind and attentive. The room was great for my needs and the AC worked great. It does make noise, but I don't mind it since it helps me sleep. The windows do open, so it was nice to get some fresh air.
Disliked: I was on the fourth floor and the WiFi was weak and spotty. I ended up connecting to my hotspot. I had some pretty loud neighbors next door and upstairs, but it didn't bother me as much as it may have with your average hotel guest. The service was OK. The front desk staff pretty much had their heads down the entire time, so you can stand at the front desk and they wouldn't know you were there. Not a real welcome to the motel. Even a simple hello makes a difference.
