Disliked: Multiple break-ins into my hotel room. A band of bums were trying to live off of my money. Even the employees were in on it thinking that would be a way of making it in this world. To make matters worse, I even got told and I quote, "Fuck off, f**king GI." by one of the hotel staff in the reception area. I know even at least one cop that tried to support bum rookie by presenting an altered, by him, court document to attempt to gain entry into the hotel room when there was no probable cause for a break in into my hotel room. Constant slander by them attacking my personal character to attempt to creatively steal my valued possessions and attempt to effectively take over the hotel room that was assigned to me. Nothing but a bunch of bums in that area trying to live off of your money.

Short & Disappointing Stay at...

Liked: My recent overnight stay at the Motel 6 (Gwinnett Place) in Duluth, GA, was unfortunately underwhelming and left me with a less than positive impression. While the room itself was adequate for a brief stay, several issues detracted from the experience.Upon check-in, I was unexpectedly charged an additional $2.13, described by the staff as an "administrative charge" that was not reflected in my Booking.com reservation. This lack of transparency regarding the final cost was immediately frustrating.The most significant disappointment, however, was the size of the bed. Despite being advertised as a queen, it was clearly a double bed. While the staff insisted it was a queen due to the use of queen-sized sheets, the actual width was noticeably smaller than a standard queen, especially when shared with my significant other. Having two queen beds at home, I am familiar with the difference, and this discrepancy significantly impacted our comfort. I personally found the mattress to be uncomfortable, although my partner had a different opinion.Beyond the bed, we did not utilize any other amenities. However, the sight of piled-up trash outside our door, located under the stairwell, was unappealing and detracted from the overall cleanliness of the property.Thankfully, our stay was only for a few hours. While the room itself was basic but acceptable for a short overnight, the unexpected charge and the misrepresentation of the bed size were significant drawbacks. I would hesitate to recommend this particular Motel 6 location based on my experience.

Live and learn

Liked: No Breakfast was served at this location but I like how convenient it is to restaurants in shopping the price is awesome
Disliked: The property had a big sign that said no pets but indeed it seems like all guest had dogs it was like a Domino affect one bark they all barked kept us up all night so we call front desk ask for a noon check out. Was told no also we explained we didn't get any rest from the dog barking so after the call you can hear the phone ringing to the room next to us by the front desk contacting the room made the dog bark even louder and longer but it also let me know that the front desk knew exactly what room the dog was barking in so people been complaining it was horrible couldn't sleep that was the purpose to catch so rest but I couldn't and to be told I couldn't have a noon check out after telling you the dogs are going crazy barking and it's a no pet sign that's mind bowing park but it was at least 6 dogs by different guess I paid for 2 nights I would like a free night it was not what I thought I was just trying to sleep couldn't do that

Nice people, awful facility.

Liked: The first room we were given was supposed to be non smoking, and it definitely wasn't. It smelled awful!The second room smelled better, but cabinets were noticeably broken, the bath tub had chips, and the mattress had a major "dip" in it.We would NOT recommend the motel to anyone.

Liked: The initial staff was nice. The room was new and remodeled.
Disliked: The bed was sooooo hard. Why go so hard with the beds, geesh.
