Good hotel near Gubbio but...

Liked: Breakfast buffet was a little unimaginative - the usual mix of packets of cereal and cake. Dinner was very good though and I enjoyed eating it outside . The staff at reception were super helpful and reassuring and also very friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

Liked: Morobello is situated in a beautiful place, in San Marcello (Jesi) on the hills of the Marche region. One can enjoy the beauty of nature. The panoramic view from the Hotel is just fantastic. If you want to breath fresh air in abundance you can be a guest at Morobello. The staff will take very good care of you- I enjoyed my stay at Morobello and would recommend it for those who wish to get away for few days to enjoy nature, beauty and peace. The manager, sig. Aldo. makes it a point to make your stay a very comfortable and memorable one.

We left shocked after a cat was abused

Disliked: We've spent some relaxing days at Morobello, enjoying the 3 pools as well as a clean and spacious room. However, we left the place early, because we witnessed an incident of a waiter violently mistreating a small cat of about 6 months. We saw him carrying the cat downstairs (where the bathrooms are). 5 seconds later, the cat was crying terribly and, when we ran there to check, we saw it bleeding and running away in shock. We were shocked. Some of the other staff members seemed shocked as well. Yet, when we told the owner of Morobello what had happened, there was little understanding. We've visited many agriturismi and usually always met owners with a strong heart for animals. At Morobello, that's not the case. The way in which this waiter abused the cat was cruel, unnecessary and, in our view, absolutely unacceptable.
