I think that we were at the wrong place at the wrong time when everything went wrong. We couldn't fault the manager's appreciation of the situation and we look forward to visiting again in two weeks time.

Liked: The building and location.
Disliked: Our room was freezing cold with heating inoperative. Fire alarms active intermittently throughout night; didn't get to enjoy the bathroom as there was no hot water.

Location is perfect get around...

Liked: This hotel is just so quirky and has kept its character. We were upgraded and our room was perfect. Four poster bed lovely crispy sheets and beautiful shower/bathroom. Spotlessly clean with coffe making machine with ample milk(only usually get enough for one coffee each) and complimentary water not forgetting the lovely Amy who greeted us on arrival and Ryan who took our bags to the room staff are so pleasant and smiley
Disliked: It’s not a compliant but think the pillows need upgrading
