Would not go back

Liked: The breakfast was good.
Disliked: Dirty room, very old and dusty ant trap in the bathroom. Overcharged - did not charge the rate I reserved on booking.com. Inappropriate staff member having a conversation which made me uncomfortable, then adding me on WhatsApp (blocked the number). The website still shows the pub as open which is misleading and has a photo of what we now know is Chirk castle but thought was the hotel because it’s in the”about” section. Website makes it look decent but it’s pretty rundown. Needs refurbishment. Very disappointing
